Mark your calendars and prepare for an epic journey: a day of gravel riding through the stunning landscapes of Åmosen awaits!
What's in store? While the route is still in the works, anticipate a challenging adventure with plenty of elevation gain, grassy trails, and occasional paved roads linking the gravel paths. Modeled after the renowned Åmosen Classic, this ride is not for the faint of heart. You'll need to be in top shape, adept at route navigation, and self-sufficient with your supplies. In the vast expanse of Åmosen, there won't be a single grocery store in sight unless you ride off course. Plan for a ride lasting over 7 hours.
Who's invited? Only a maximum of 40 riders will have the chance to join this exclusive experience. To ensure a safe and enjoyable ride, we'll split the group into two or three smaller teams. Please choose your preferred pace based on the options below.
What can you expect during the day?
Pre take off: At Buerup Skole you will be able to use the changing rooms if you have not changed before arriving. Before taking offer you will be offered some pastries and be able to fill up your bottles with energy.
At km 100km you will pass by Super Brugsen in Undløse and we highly suggest you to drop by and fill up if you need it.
At the feed zone which you will hit at 124km, you will be able to get your bottles filled with water, energy mix, grab a few gels, bananas and some salty snacks before taking off again.
At km 160km you will pass by Super Brugsen in Undløse and we highly suggest you to drop by and fill up if you need it.
Upon returning at the finish line we will have sandwiches and drinks.
Remember, this is an adventure and you are responsible for yourself once you take off.
