This workshop is an introduction to the work of professional storytellers. Participants can learn about spoken word storytelling as a vocation and as an art form.
Through interactive exercises, they can experiment with storytelling techniques and explore how traditional stories work in contemporary settings. The workshop is open to anyone who is curious about stories, uses narrative in their studies or work, or simply wants to get a glimpse of the international community of modern-day storytellers.
👤 Zalka Csenge Virág is an international storyteller and author. She holds a Master's Degree in Storytelling and a PhD in Culture Studies. She travels the world, performing in English, Spanish, and Hungarian; she specializes in telling folktales, myths, legends, and other traditional stories.
