Brian Ahsman
Brian Ahsmann is the Agency Relations Manager at the Food Bank of Central New York, where he has served for the past seven years. In this role, he works closely with nearly 400 partner agencies across the Food Bank’s 11-county service area, supporting community-based efforts to combat food insecurity and strengthen local hunger-relief networks. With over 12 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Brian brings a deep commitment to service and collaboration. His work focuses on building strong relationships with partner organizations to ensure equitable and efficient food distribution throughout Central and Northern New York. Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sport Management and Economics from SUNY Cortland, graduating in 2007. His background combines strategic planning, community engagement, and a passion for social impact, all of which inform his work in the fight against hunger.

Established in 1985, Food Bank of Central New York is a not-for-profit organization leading the fight to end hunger across an 11-county service area that includes Central New York, Northern New York, and the Mohawk Valley. The Food Bank acts as the primary food distribution hub for hundreds of food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and faith-based organizations in our region. In addition to being a proud member of the national Feeding America and statewide Feeding New York State networks, the Food Bank works locally with community partners to serve the counties of Cayuga, Chenango, Cortland, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego, and St. Lawrence, connecting food, hygiene items, and other essential resources to neighbors in need.
