50th anniversary celebrating Betty Bone Schiess

Join us on Tues., July 29 at 7 p.m. to honor Betty Bone Schiess, a trailblazer for women's rights. In the 1970s, Betty "broke the stained glass ceiling" by defying the rules of The Episcopal Church and becoming a priest. Pictured is The Rev. Christine Day, working on the icon of Betty which will be unveiled at Tuesday's event at Grace Church, Syracuse.
