We've had a handful of requests to host a spins and turns workshop, so we decided to make it happen!
This workshop is for dancers who are absolutely new to turns and spins, as well as for those who want to become more proficient in what they are already practicing. In this one-hour workshop you can expect to sharpen your skills in a variety of spins & turns from pivot turns, spiral turns, chaine turns, spot turns and more! This workshop is for both, male and female dancers, and there is no partner needed because there will be no partnership dancing during the workshop.
Our fabulous instructor, Delaney, will break down each turn to make them easy to learn and will share some of her tips/tricks to polish up the spins and turns that you may have already been working on in your dancing. Delaney has been dancing, spinning, turning, competing and performing from a young age and is super excited to share her knowledge with you in this workshop!
Details:
*Saturday, August 16th (4pm-5pm)
(If it's your first time to the studio please come 10 minutes early to register.)
*Admission $15 per person (pay online or at the door)
*Wear shoes (heels, flats, ballroom shoes, dress shoes) that you can spin or turn easily in. (stay away from rubber sole shoes)
*Space is limited.
