Free 8-Week Course: A Matter of Balance
A Matter of Balance is a free, evidence-based program designed to help older adults reduce their fear of falling and increase their activity levels. This 8-week course empowers participants to break the cycle of fear and regain confidence in their mobility.
Led by trained instructors, the program includes:

Informative lectures and group discussions
Problem-solving and role-play activities
Gentle exercise training to improve strength, coordination, and balance
Assertiveness training and home assignments

Participants will also learn how to safely get up and down, and how to conduct a home safety evaluation to reduce fall risks. Ages 55+. Must have a current participant form on file.
