The 2025 Sylvan Beach Pirate’s Weekend is from Thursday, July 17th to Sunday, July 20th. It's an exciting weekend for all ages and features many activities.
Pirate’s Weekend has all our favorites like the famous Pirate pub crawl, beach treasure hunts, live music, bonfire, and Landshark Lager specials.

“A Community Event”
Thursday, July 17
· 4 pm- Pirate flags are displayed in the village.
· 5:45 pm- The mayor and political dignitaries will officially sanction Pirates Weekend by raising the pirate flag – Bandstand
· 6 pm- Classic Car Cruise Night- Sunset Park
· 6 pm- Pirate Invasion: The Pirates will capture two local celebrities and hold them for ransom, traveling throughout the village.
· 6 pm – The Pirate kidnapping of a local celebrity will be held for ransom! The captured will be brought to many businesses to obtain ransom for release. All proceeds will benefit The Sylvan Beach Volunteer Fire Department.
6:10 pm Local Favorite Spare Parts will perform on the bandstand. Various additional venues at each establishment
· 6 pm – Live Music – East Shore All Stars– Harpoon Eddies
·8 pm- Outdoor Movie- Pan!!!! Village Green By The Bandstand
· Various Activities Throughout the Beach
Friday, July 18
· 5 pm – Pirate Activities throughout the village.
· 7 pm – 10 pm – Best of the beach pirates Grog Crawl! Sponsored by Land Shark Lager. Participating establishments will have available signature pirate grog for sampling throughout the area. Prizes! Drawing @ 10:00 PM, Sunset Grill. Punch Cards are available at all participating businesses.
Saturday, July 19
Family Fun Day
· 9 am – Breakfast with Pirates, Pancake House, Main Street
· 10 am Crafters and Vendors throughout the village.
· 10 am – Pirate’s Booty Treasure Hunt on the beach at 15th Ave; dig for buried gold coins and redeem them for a toy at the “treasure chest.”
· 11 am – Pirate Sing along w/ The Sylvan Beach Singers Band Stand Children’s Pirate Activities
· 11 am – Balloon Twisting w/ Paul Jackman – Amusement District
· 11am-1pm 4th Annual Kid's Day @ The Union Chapel

· 1 pm – Our Famous “Pirate Parade” begins near the canal and travels north on Park Ave/ Rt 13.
· 2 pm – Pirate Reenactment @ Sunset Park
· 8:30 pm – Family Bonfire on the beach at 15th Ave.

· 9:30 pm Pirate Fireworks over the lake
· Various entertainment venues at local businesses.
Sunday July 20
· 10 am - 2 pm – Jack Sparrow impersonator in the park, Bandstand
· 10 am Crafters and Vendors throughout the village
· 11 am Pirates Dress Up
· 11 am Pirate Music Fest Featuring All your favorite Beach Songs.- Village Bandstand.
· 12pm – Pirate Puppy Parade Sponsored by Land Shark Parade starts at 18th AVE and proceeds to Carello's Corner Parking Lot.
· 1 pm Bloody Mary Contest: Specialty Bloody Mary Contests throughout the Beach!
· 5 pm Pirate Decoration Contest Winners Announced
· Various entertainment venues at local businesses.
