Course Title: Introduction to Visual Art: Exploring the Language of Creativity (6-Week Course)
Course Description:
This 6-week introductory art course is designed for beginners and self-taught artists looking to build a solid foundation in the visual arts. Through hands-on activities, weekly discussions, and personalized feedback, students will explore the essential elements of visual art.
Course Structure:
Each week, students will engage in a new topic that deepens their understanding of visual communication. From line and shape to texture and color theory, every class will introduce key concepts, techniques, and exercises that focus on different aspects of creating art. We will be focusing on learning how to see like an artist through drawing.
Course Outcomes:
By the end of the course, students will have a strong understanding of the language of visual art.
The cost of this mini course is $165.00. There may be a weekly materials list fee. For the first class you will need paper or a sketchbook, pencils and an eraser.
