Olive, a young girl from New Mexico, dreams to be the next Little Miss Sunshine at a pageant in California. Her parents reluctantly oblige and decide to take a road trip across the US so she can compete. This trip faces its own challenges however, as the family face many obstacles along the way.

A modern classic that tackles family dysfunction and tragedy, the warmth and charm shines through as the family all strive to make Olive’s dreams come true.
