Friendly, relaxing ‘Drop-In’ and 'pay-on-the-day' sessions where you can learn new skills, practice old ones, make friends and enjoy the benefits of creating with clay, all for just £18 per session!
Hand Build clay by coiling, pinching or slab building. These friendly, relaxed sessions allow you to be creative with very little previous experience or skill and are available for all ages (please note our evening sessions are aimed at adults only but children are welcome to all sessions before 6pm).
The sessions are fun and addictive! You will be surprised how quickly you can make your own mugs, pots, vases or even move on to sculpting! You can come to as many or as few sessions as you wish, come alone or bring a friend, group, team, party… we can accommodate most occasions and most needs. All materials are provided and help is on hand should you need it.
If you decide you would like to progress further, we encourage you to attempt each different hand-building technique (coiling, pinching and slab building) completing a variety of projects over several weeks. Build essential skills as you then explore the wonderful world of ceramics taking more challenging projects and, if you wish, moving into sculpture as your confidence grows.
We believe in flexible learning, work at your own pace, take as many or few sessions in a week as you like, on whichever days fit your schedule that week, no need to sign up for a whole term, simply ‘pay as you go’… No need to book, just turn up!
Weekly sessions run every MON, TUES & WED evenings 6.30-8.30pm plus every TUES & WED 10.30-12, 12.30-2 and 4.30-6pm
Pottery painting, Pot throwing and weekend pottery experience days also available.
