Neurocircle- Holiday Co-ordination

Neurocircle is a support group for family, friends and carers of Neurodivergent individuals. Sessions consist of guest speakers, advice and support drop-ins and a warm and friendly environment for a cup of tea and a chat.

With the holiday season upcoming, Neurocircle hope to offer practical guidance and emotional for managing the unique challenges that arise during the holiday season, helping individuals/families maintain stability and well-being, and to help support those we support feel a sense of control despite disruptions to their usual routines.

Understanding Holiday Stressors:

Increased social pressures and expectations

Financial strain

Family dynamics and potential conflicts

Routine Disruption Challenges:

Irregular schedules and disrupted sleep patterns

Changes in diet, exercise, and self-care habits

Balancing work and family responsibilities

Managing triggers and maintaining healthy coping strategies

Strategies for Coping and Resilience

Open Discussion and Peer Support

Outcome:
Participants should leave the session feeling better equipped to manage the emotional, physical, and practical challenges of the holiday season, with a clearer understanding of how to protect their well-being amid the chaos.
