Are you curious about WWOOFing but not quite sure what to expect?
This year we’re offering Taster Days so you can ‘try before you buy’.
You’ll have the opportunity to visit a WWOOF UK host for the day and learn all about the WWOOF and what a typical WWOOFing experience might look like, then get stuck into some hands-on practical activities along with fellow ‘taster dayers’.
Your host for the Taster Day is an educational centre and co-operative situated on a 3 acre farm with a gorgeous garden, outbuildings and paddocks. They keep hens, ducks, kune kune pigs and sheep. Vegetables are grown on raised beds and in a polytunnel.
They also have a beautiful turf roofed rustic sauna, play barn and rope swing as the farm runs a residential centre for courses, learning holidays, activity days and is a meeting place for various local groups.
Having been a host for many years they are used to welcoming WWOOF members onto their land and into their home.
They are experts in providing a fully immersive learning experiences and the chance to take part in the day-to-day running of a mixed organic smallholding.
We think you’ll enjoy meeting others interested in starting out on their own WWOOFing journey, so we’ve designed the day to include plenty of opportunities for getting know each other!

The day costs just £15 per person.
After the Taster Day you’ll be given a 40% discount code so if you decide to sign up as a member of WWOOF UK you’ll only pay £15 for a year’s membership (usual price is £25)
