Free "how to process your digital images" day

In the first half (10.30 - 12.30) we will cover the difference between RAW, DNG and JPG files, using the RAW converter in both Photoshop and Affinity, and how it can improve the basic settings of what you captured, plus we'll cover the use of Brushes, Layers and Masks to get creative


In the break there will be tea and coffee available
but bring your own lunch unless you fancy the chippy a short walk away

You will be able to talk to club members about what the club offers, plus meet our Special Interest Groups covering Portraiture, Landscape and Street photography to see if what they get up to interests you


In the second half (1.30 - 3.30) we'll look at editing the image to tidy up some of the unwanted bits using the Clone and Healing brushes, plus the use of Adjustment Layers and simple sharpening

To conclude the day there will be an opportunity to ask questions or take a look at some of your images to make suggestions for improvement

Please bring your own laptop to follow along with the demo or you can just turn up to watch and learn but in either case remember it's all about having fun
