The monthly night of Indie / Trip-Hop / Electronica + other lush-sounding stuff by Swindon stalwart DJ Dust, now with added visuals too and performed from the stage (no more hiding at the corner of the bar). ;)
For the first time ever, this one is on a Friday. It's another special one though... 10 years ago marks the release of "Music Complete" the last album to date by Manchester legends New Order. To some, a controversial release as founder member Peter Hook had nothing to do with it having sadly departed the band nearly a decade earlier. The rest chose to carry on without him though and, to me, it's the best album they've done since the incredible "Technique" in 1989. A band fully rejuvenated and at the peak of their powers. The 3rd single from it especially, "Singularity", is IMO one of the greatest NO songs ever.
So, expect a few tunes from that, along with other tunes / videos from the earlier years (have got some amazing vintage footage), along with the usual likes of... Primal Scream, Leftfield, James, Portishead, Hybrid, Goldfrapp, Depeche Mode, PJ Harvey, Radiohead, Massive Attack, Talk Talk, Underworld, Pulp, Sneaker Pimps, The Orb + more.
