Free* training funded by South Swindon Parish Council for professionals working in the area. To be held in the Council Chambers at the South Swindon Parish Council Offices.

The learning outcomes from the training are:

- Understanding the grieving process in relation to children & young people

- Age related grieving behaviours

- Practical methods of supporting grieving children and young people

- Knowing where and how to signpost for specialist bereavement support

- Understanding changes to RSHE guidance for schools, in relation to bereavement and loss

Attendees will receive a certificate and resource pack upon completion of the training.

*Thanks to funding from South Swindon Parish Council this training is free for professionals who:

• work with children aged 5-18 who live in the South Swindon Parish Council area AND
• work in the public, voluntary and community sectors. For example in education, children’s services, health, youth, play and community settings. Individuals from the private sector are not eligible.

In the first instance places will be capped at 1 per organisation, due to limited spaces.

Please note: Parking is not available on site but is available at the County Ground car park, less than 10mins walk away and £1.50 for 4 hour (SN1 2EB).
