Picnic Paddle

Enjoy a beginner-friendly, guided downriver adventure on the Haw, complete with a bring-your-own wilderness picnic! Guests will paddle the scenic and easy-going Swepsonville-to-Saxapahaw section of the river, with guide assistance for the Puryear dam portage and finding the best spot to picnic. A great way to spend the day on the Haw!

The recommended minimum age for this trip is 8 years old. All paddlers under the age of 18 that will not be accompanied by an adult will need to have a signed waiver from either a parent or legal guardian before they can participate in the trip.
