Fall Colors Nature Walk (Ages 8 and up)

Learn about the science of leaf color change as you enjoy bright splashes of red, orange, and yellow in the autumn woods and prairies of Oak Openings Preserve Metropark. Hike through the park with a naturalist to chase the best fall colors and learn about the best spots to look for these vibrant leaves. This program involves a 3 mile hike on primitive trails.

This program runs rain or shine, dress for the weather and wear good hiking shoes/boots and bring a water bottle. Minors must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.
