WELCOME TO THE OCTOBER MEET UP OF USk SWANSEA
🥳Its Swansea Art Weekend and its our FIRST BIRTHDAY!! 🎂
There’s SO much to see and sketch around the Glyn Vivian Art Gallery area, the scene of our first meet up a whole year ago 🤩-
* Victorian facades
* The Gallery itself - juxtaposition of the new and the old
* Iconic Swansea buildings
* Amazing Gallery interior and halls
* The Art College
* The BBC Building
* Ragged school
* Terraced roads and lanes
* Urban Flora and Forna
Plus lots more for the creative eye
We’re going to meet just before 10am in the cafe in the main entrance of the Glyn Viv and sketch until 12.15pm – when we’ll reconvene back at the cafe and share our sketches.
Turn up when you can no restriction on times
Non need to register or book
There is plenty of parking in the area

But if if it isn't, we are free to sketch within the gallery building
Lots of exciting stuff to capture and art to create.
After we can get a group photo for the records, grab a coffee and ‘compare notes’.

This is a free event and all ages are welcome. You'll need to bring your own art supplies (pen, notebook, paints if you want them).
