The Great Global Greyhound Walk is a worldwide celebration of greyhounds, lurchers and other sighthounds, bringing together thousands of dogs and their owners for one special day each year.
Held in towns, cities and countryside across the globe, these walks help raise awareness of sighthounds as gentle, loving pets and promote greyhound adoption and rehoming.
Every walk is a chance to meet fellow sighthound owners, make new friends and enjoy a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Whether you are part of a big group or walking on your own, everyone is welcome to join the global sighthound community and take part.
Lots of our current residents from our Hillcrest Rehoming Centre will also be in attendance.
We will meet in the carpark by the cafe. The postcode is SA4 9GS.
The walk is expected to last approximately 60 minutes and the ground is flat and even. Provided the cafe is open on the day, there is the option at the end of the walk to pop in for a coffee and cake should you so wish! Parking costs £2.50 (for up to 3 hours) and £4 for all day. Parking can be paid by card or coin at our parking machines.
Please note - All dogs must be kept on lead for the duration of our walk.
