This October, we’re kicking off the first ever Penllergaer ScarecrowFest
From 1–12 October, our village will be full of creativity and fun as residents make their own scarecrows and display them in their front gardens for everyone to see.
By entering, your scarecrow will appear on the official Scarecrow Trail Map, so families can walk around the village and enjoy them all.
Judging will take place in the week of 6 October, with prizes for the Top 3 Scarecrows (please get in touch for sponsorship opportunities!).

Let’s come together as a community and make this the start of a new Penllergaer tradition.
