King Goon is a Swansea-based band that has been making waves/causing choas in the local music scene since their formation way back in 2011. With their unique blend of ska, folk and punk influences, the band has gained a reputation for their frenetic, energetic live performances, filthy mouths and catchy, melodic songs.
In 2022, the band released their debut album, “Admit Nothing! Deny Everything! Lie! Lie! Lie!” which received positive reviews, and have spent their time since playing numerous shows to promote it, including headlining stages at Swansea fringe, Brecon fringe and Gwen Gwen festival and playing at Swansea Arena.
King Goon are set to release their follow up album “OH MY!” in late 2025 having recorded the bulk of it at the wonderful Mwnci studios in west Wales. Several singles will precede the album release, with of course, massive launch party planned
Wistful are an alternative rock band that bring their audience a nostalgic feel, with their music making them think of good memories by combining elements of shoegaze and grunge.
Traitors are a garage rock, alternative blues duo based in Bristol. The music equivalent of a punch in the face (but good).
Purple Waters are a spectacular, 1 of 1, otherworldly cascade of alternative rock music to make your ears happy. Deriving from Swansea, and after three singles/EPs between April and December 2024, they released their debut album on January 17th 2025.
