To find out about Swansea's once vast and thriving copper industry, join us for a free guided walk of Hafod Morfa Copperworks, on Thursday 19th June at 6pm. Come along and discover why Swansea became known as Copperopolis.
We meet opposite Landore Park & Ride building, next to the chimney sculpture, SA1 2JT. Guided walks last for about 2 hours, there is no need to book, just turn up, please wear sturdy footwear. Although the ground is uneven in places, the walk is mostly flat, we do more talking than walking!
The nearest place to park is at Landore Park & Ride, which will stay open until the end of our walk, it only costs £1 to park there.
