Incident Safety Awareness for the Hired Vendor

Join us for Incident Safety Awareness for the Hired Vendor!

Our company is an approved training center for the Incident Safety Awareness for Hired Vendors Course authorized by the California State Fire Marshal.

This eight (8) hour course is required for all Hired Vendors working with theUSFS or CAL FIRE on any active wildland fire assignment. This includeswater tender operators, heavy equipment with water operators (Skidgine),dozer operators, crew bus drivers, vehicle drivers, mechanics, fallers,swampers and chain saw operators.

This course provides an awareness of fireline safety to hired vendors who plan to engage in wildland fire suppression and other incident support activities.

Topics include current safety training, relevant policy and procedures, how to recognize and mitigate risk, and maintain safe and effective practices whileworking under agency supervision on an incident.Upon successful completion of training, participants will receive a coursecompletion card valid for one (1) year from date of issue.
