North Carolina Folk Festival

Join us for the 2025 North Carolina Folk Festival, a FREE and fun-for-all celebration of cultural heritage and artistic excellence in Downtown Greensboro. This free, three-day festival showcases acclaimed performers from across the globe, featuring Grammy-winning artists and emerging talents. Last year’s headliners included acts like The War & Treaty, Los Lonely Boys, and North Carolina’s own: Mipso.

Experience multiple stages of dynamic performances, including one stage dedicated solely to North Carolina based artists, international cuisine, artisanal craft vendors, and interactive cultural demonstrations. The festival brings together diverse communities to celebrate the rich tapestry of traditional and contemporary folk arts, and seeks to show that folk isn’t just about banjos.
