TINY TUTR goes LARGEly LARGESS
Calling all crafters & artisans! It’s time to have a summer get together!
**DATE & TIME**: Saturday, July 19, 2025, 10 am to 4 pm
**LOCATION**: Wyndham Estates Club House, 13895 – 102 Avenue, Surrey, BC
A & S Social Drop In: 10 am to 4 pm, no pre-registration required
Gate: by donation
**LETS MAKE LARGESS!** Bring your largess ideas and supplies. If you don’t have any ideas, I have patterns and materials to make cutlery rolls, haversacks, needle books, take & make embroidery kits, stuffed animals, etc. If you have any of the following items, feel free to bring them: portable sewing machine, scissors, tape measure, sewing thread, hand sewing needles, pins. If you want to declutter and have any of the following hiding in your stash, please bring those along too: craft felt (min. size 6”x6”), fabric pieces (min. size 6”x6”), ribbon or cord (min. length 12”), embroidery floss (min. ½ skein), Adia cloth (min. size 3”x3”), yarn (min length 10 yds), straps for haversacks, cutlery, beads & beading tools.
Accessibility: the site has 2 accessible bathrooms and is ground level; there may be one or two 4” curbs to negotiate
Transit Information: From Surrey Central Skytrain Station, take bus #325 (140th Street to Newton Exchange), get off at 139th Street, and cross 102nd Avenue to the site.
Walking Directions: From Surrey Central Station, head south on City Parkway to 102nd Avenue and turn left (east) at the light. Continue east on 102nd Avenue, crossing King George Boulevard and Whalley Boulevard, keep going up the hill, passing (on the left) the Anthem construction site, a large condo complex and the Chartwell Seniors’ Residence. The site is the next property.
Site Access: Phone panel is located to the right of the main gate (directly opposite 139 Street) in the gatehouse; access code will be posted. The car gate will open, the man gate will not unlock
Parking: Visitor parking is located on site to the right of the main gate; there is also street parking on 102 Avenue
Come for the social and catch up with the friends in an environment where you won’t have to dodge fighters to get to the bathroom! So, bring your lunch and maybe a snack to share and join us for some A&S fun!
