Join me for Serpent Magic: Make a Spell Bottle — a hands-on workshop where we’ll craft spell bottles infused with the transformative power of the serpent. Using authentic shed snake skin as a symbol of renewal and rebirth, you’ll create a personal talisman filled with your choice of magical ingredients like herbs, crystals, and charms. Alongside the craft, you’ll also meet some of my live reptiles up close and personal — a rare chance to connect with these fascinating creatures while you create your own piece of serpent-inspired magic.

✨ What is a Spell Bottle?

A spell bottle is a small jar filled with carefully chosen items—herbs, crystals, charms, even snake skin—that are sealed and blessed with intention. Think of it as a personal talisman in a bottle: you decide its purpose (protection, healing, transformation, abundance, etc.), then “charge” it by filling and sealing the jar. Once complete, the bottle works quietly in the background, holding your intention like a lantern holds a flame.

Q: Were any animals harmed to provide the snake skin for this class?

A: Absolutely not. Snakes naturally shed their skin as part of their life cycle, and I only use shed skins collected from the snakes I personally house and care for at Sarah’s Serpentarium. It’s like a reptile’s way of leaving behind an old outfit — no harm, just transformation.

Q: Do I have to follow a specific spiritual path to make a spell bottle?

A: Not at all! Spell bottles are for anyone who wants to set an intention and craft something magical and meaningful. You don’t need to be a witch, pagan, or follow any particular belief system to join in — just bring your curiosity and creativity.

Q: Will we be using culturally closed practices or ingredients?

A: No. This workshop is rooted in accessible, nature-based magic and respect. We will not be using ingredients or rituals from closed traditions. Everything you’ll work with is safe, ethical, and open for everyone to explore.

Q: Can I bring my own ingredients from home?

A: For this class, no outside ingredients will be allowed. All the materials you need — from herbs and crystals to shed snake skin — will be provided. That way, everyone works within the same safe, respectful framework.
