Interdependence — Building Community as an Act of Resistance
Instructor: Jesse Dykhuis
Sunday, January 4 | 2:30 – 5:30 PM | emFATic plus, Superior WI
Limited to 10 participants
In a culture that prizes self-sufficiency and “handling it on our own,” interdependence becomes a quiet form of rebellion. This three-hour gathering invites us to explore what it means to belong to one another—to practice community care, mutual aid, and shared resilience as antidotes to isolation and perfectionism.
Through guided discussion, reflective writing, and small-group conversation, we’ll name the barriers that keep us separate, celebrate the ways our bodies already know how to connect, and imagine communities rooted in reciprocity rather than individual achievement.
Come ready to think, feel, and listen deeply. You’ll leave with a renewed sense of how collective healing can become both personal practice and social action.
