Talk for Writing Showcase School Open Morning (QLD)

Over the past few years, Immanuel Lutheran College (Sunshine Coast) has successfully implemented Talk for Writing as a whole school approach to teaching written expression.
Throughout this half-day session, participants will have the opportunity to visit Immanuel Lutheran College to see first-hand how Talk for Writing can be used consistently across a school.

Immanuel Lutheran College's teachers and leaders will share their school’s implementation experiences and provide an overview of the coaching journey that assisted in the sustainability of this highly effective instructional approach.

This showcase school open day will provide an exceptional opportunity for participants to extend their skills and knowledge in the Talk for Writing approach, and reflect on how the use of Talk for Writing can be supported in their own school.

Participants will also be invited to observe Talk for Writing lessons occurring in various classrooms.
