JVNA (real name Jana Ma) is a Los Angeles–based DJ, singer, songwriter, and producer known for blending emotional vocals with cinematic electronic production. Classically trained on piano and educated at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, she first gained attention through anime and video game remixes before breaking out with her debut album Hope In Chaos (2021), a heartfelt exploration of loss and resilience. Her sound fuses melodic bass, pop, and rock influences into a distinctive, story-driven style.
In recent years, JVNA has leaned into themes of empowerment and identity, most notably with her second album Play With You (2023), which introduced a bold, mythic alter-ego aesthetic. As of 2025, she continues to tour, release new music like Aphrodite, and expand her creative vision with visuals and storytelling inspired by mythology and feminine power, solidifying her place as one of the most dynamic voices in modern electronic music.
