It's taken a bit to organise but we're finally here with our December Quiz. This time we're going for more of a Christmas Party vibe with multiple quiz rounds covering Xmas music, folklore, movies and TV. This month it's more of a celebration of the year and the wonderful community we've built together so we're taking over the upstairs of my favourite pub in Sunderland The Ship Isis (note that I'm not sure if they are wheelchair accessible but they are child-friendly for this event).
We'll be back to our usual venue in the new year but let's take in the cosy atmosphere, expect the usual quiz, some live entertainment, a bit of party food, and a fair bit of silliness.
Also we're doing a White Elephant, so if you bring a wrapped gift (something you want to donate or something new that's £5 or under) you can swap gifts with another person at the quiz.
We're also having a competition for the best (worst?) Christmas jumper so come in yours and we'll get into the Xmas spirit together!
The quiz is £2 to take part in and we'll also be holding our regular nerdy raffle. This month we're raising money for my charity St. Benedict's Hospice. Event starts at 4pm!
