The north east’s biggest open mic returns on Thursday, 11th September at @poprecsltd, Sunderland.

Doors open at 6pm. Come in, meet / make some friends, and grab a glass of something fortifying. If you want to perform, sign up for a five-minute open mic slot. And give @thatjameswhitman a nudge if you’d like to be recorded for our podcast.

Headlining this month is the Cactus Daddy himself, J Archer Avary - aka @jooeyflaash. Joey will be performing from his collection of riotous short stories, Prick. Think Bukowski, think Office Space, think “When was that toilet last cleaned?”, and you’ll be in the right ball park.

Our open mic night remains FREE! (But yeet £1 for Pop Recs in the pink jar, if you can.)
