California Native Plant Container Gardening with Terrence Williams

Join us at Theodore Payne Foundation's gardens to learn how to grow native plants in pots to enhance your door step, balcony or patio. In fact, a vast array of native plants will grow happily in containers. Potted native plants will add texture and color to your garden or terrace, as well as habitat for birds, butterflies and native bees.Get tips and tricks for finding your container materials on a budget. This informative presentation will be held indoors with an outdoor component that includes a live potting demonstration. Culminating with an optional walk & talk through our nursery to meet the plants that do well in pots. A portion of this class may be held outdoors, please dress accordingly for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. Terrence Williams is the Nursery Technician at Theodore Payne Foundation.
