Have you ever wondered how you can help make scuba diving accessible for everyone? Join Tony Martinez, SSI Classified Dive Instructor for Arizona Dive Center for an informative session about becoming an SSI Classified Dive Buddy.
The SSI Classified Diving program is designed to give individuals with limited mobility, sensory issues, or disabilities the opportunity to enjoy the thrill of scuba diving. As a Classified Dive Buddy, you play a key role in supporting these divers so they can experience the underwater world safely and confidently.

*What it means to be a Classified Dive Buddy
*The types of divers you may be paired with and the unique considerations for each
*The skills and mindset needed to assist divers with mobility or sensory challenges
*Certifications needed prior to this course
*How you can get involved in training and support opportunities at Arizona Dive Center
✅ Who should attend?
Certified Open Water Divers (age 18+) who are interested in learning how to share the joy of diving with those who might need extra support.
