Calling all singers! Auditions for “The Great American Trailer Park Christmas Musical” will be held Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 4+5, 6pm-8pmand Saturday, Aug. 9, 10am-noon – in the classroom at Sumter Little Theatre.
We’ll be looking for females who can play from late teens to 50s, and two men, 20s/30s and 40s/50s.
Please bring a prepared song and your sheet music or your own digital music.
The show hits the stage the first two weekends in December.
This show is an adult musical, rated PG-13. It will be directed by Traci Quinn, who also directed “Next to Normal,” “Sweat,” “Five Women Wearing the Same Dress” and “Steel Magnollas,” among others.
It’s holiday time down in Armadillo Acres (North Florida’s premier mobile-living community), and everyone’s filled with warmth … and beer. But when a freak bout of amnesia strikes the trailer park Scrooge, neighborly love is put to the test. Be on hand as Betty, Lin and Pickles jingle all the way with some new neighbors! This companion to the original GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK MUSICAL is just as much of a cat-fightin’, sun-worshippin’, chair-throwin’ good time-—but with tinsel and Keg Nog.
