I've decided to change things up a bit this year. The AGM will be at my house! We will also be doing the grand opening of the new ginormous enclosure and I think it will be an awesome gathering.
If anyone would like to see where thousands of wild creatures have stayed over the years (and maybe see a few that are still here) - now's your chance!
If you think you could help with fundraising, computer work, or any of the other necessary chores or if you would just be willing to assist in some way, I'd like to invite you to come and join us.
Membership (although not required to attend the AGM) is $10/year. We also have board member opportunities.
To become a board member its required that you be a paid member. This allows you to vote on major decisions and offer solutions to many of the difficulties facing PEI Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Inc. and PEI's lack of veterinary care for wildlife at this time.
We need a facility. We need people willing to try and ask for corporate sponsorship from companies. We need educators, builders and folks willing to answer the phone (if I can figure out a way to transfer calls).
There are so many things you could do to help this seriously tired old gal.. please consider attending.
