Welcome to Cool, Calm, & Connected!

Dear Parents,

We’re so excited to welcome your child to *Cool, Calm, & Connected*, a 5-week therapeutic group for kids ages 6–10, designed to build emotional awareness.

What Happens:

This group is designed to help children build emotional regulation, social confidence, and coping strategies in a fun and supportive environment.

Each week has a different theme, combining clinical tools with age-appropriate games, crafts, movement, and discussion.

Your child will learn to:

o Identify and talk about their feelings

o Use calming strategies like breathing, mindfulness, and sensory tools

o Build friendships and practice positive social skills

o Understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours connect

When & Where:

Location: In Good Time Wellness Collective – 293 Water Street, Summerside PE

Dates: Fridays – August 1, 8, 15, 22, 29

Time: 9:00am–11:00am

Cost & Payment:

Cost: $150/session (insurance reimbursable, no direct billing). Payment is due at the time of each session.

Additional Details:

- Drop-off only (please arrive 5 minutes early)

- Nut-free snacks and water provided

- Each session has a unique theme with movement, art, mindfulness, and group discussion

- Parents take home sheets each week to support learning at home

-Attendance at all 5 sessions is encouraged but not mandatory
