Join the Peachland Watershed Protection Alliance members and public in exploring our vast source water back country.
Pockets of primary forest remain home to many native and migratory bird species.
Expert amatuere birders, James Jansen (often accompanied by his 4 generations of birding family members!) and Marcus Weilmeir will lead us through various ecosystems in our search to ''capture'' variety o birds.
There will also be a brief but informative PHOTOGRPHY WORKSHOP hosted by local birder and photographer James, so we can all get the best images of the day.
Marcus keeps a thorough list of species seen and heard, last year we were lucky to find 72!
We meander at various look outs a pull ins with our vehicles , then set out on foot, we will choose one spot to break for lunch, chat and have Q & A.
