SWG Oct Meeting- Zine Workshop with Shanon Stewart

Shanon Stewart is a watercolour artist with a love of all things vintage, while her fountain pens and her typewriters keep her connected to the written word. Why not combine both with a zine? Zines are an easy way to bring art and writing together in one form. As writers, zines can be a cost-effective way to highlight your work and peak interest in a topic. In this workshop, Shanon will give an overview of what a zine is, and teach you how to create a simple zine with a piece of regular copy paper.

Workshop will start around 7pm, after the usual Guild business is concluded.

This is a *Hybrid* event and will take place in person and on Zoom! Zoom link will be sent to attendees prior to the event.

Cost for non-members is $10. Cash or e-transfer.

*In the event the college support staff are still on strike, the event will be ONLINE ONLY and payments will be by e-transfer only.*
