HUGE COMMUNITY WIDE FUNDRAISER ANNOUNCEMENT!
Over the next few weeks we will be interviewing charities, outreach workers, volunteers, and the people experiencing homelessness to understand the full picture directly from the source. We want every voice to be heard.
On December 9th at Steelworkers Hall we will be hosting a massive community fundraiser that includes a monetary donations drive, a clothing drive, and food drive. Everything collected will go directly to the front line charities and the people who need it most.
Our goal is simple. Bring the community together. Support the organizations doing the real work. And deliver a huge wave of food, clothing, resources, and financial help for the homeless and vulnerable population in our city.
We already have a number of incredible speakers lined up, all active community members who work on the ground every single day. Over the next few weeks we will be revealing them. Comment below who you want to see speak and who you want to hear share their story on stage.
We will be donating to all of the respective charities and agencies working on the front lines. Please comment below which organizations you want to see included so we can come together as a community. From the food bank, to the soup kitchen, to SOS, and many more. Entry is free but we encourage everyone to bring some kind of donation to support the cause.
This is not politics. This is unity. This is Sudbury stepping up together.
