Discover the stories of Historic Lavenham

Stephen Moody our speaker who will take us on a tour of beautiful Lavenham, from the comfort of the Masonic Hall! West Suffolk Guide Stephen will tell you the stories and history of this once wealthy Wool Town, including the origins of some well-known phrases and nursery rhymes. Lavenham is full of interesting tales and went from boom to bust within a few years in the 16thC; today we are thankful for that! The historic streets and buildings share their stories, and this talk will introduce you to the village and delve into the lighter and sometimes darker side!
