Cinéfest Sudbury presents MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG

Cinéfest Sudbury is set to screen musical Merrily We Roll Along starring Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter franchise), Jonathan Groff (Hamilton), and Lindsay Mendez on Wednesday, November 26 at 7pm. The film, which was originally slated to screen at the 37th edition of Cinéfest Sudbury International Film Festival, will screen as the final film in this year’s Cinéfest Red Carpet Patron Program.

Spanning three decades, Stephen Sondheim and George Furth’s Merrily We Roll Along charts the turbulent relationship between composer Franklin Shepard and his two lifelong friends—writer Mary and lyricist & playwright Charley. Originally produced on Broadway in 1981, then becoming an inventive cult-classic ahead of its time, Merrily We Roll Along features some of Stephen Sondheim’s most celebrated and personal songs.
