Newcomers Archery Event and Demo

Planned Activities: Archery , Bardic Activities
Join the Shire of Schattentor for our Archery Newcomer’s Demo for a fun weekend of archery and camping in the Black Hills of South Dakota.
We will be inviting the public to join us on Saturday.
This will be a hands on Medieval Archery demonstration that is designed to be welcoming to new archers young and old and all those interested in history, archery and the Society for Creative Anachronism.
We are also looking for Marshals and MITs to run several ranges. This is a good way for new Marshals and MITs to get practice designing, setting up and running the range. We will have prizes to hand out.
Site opens noon Friday, May 16th. Site closes noon Sunday the 18th, 2025. Event open to public on Saturday.

There are No site fees but we are accepting donations to help pay for the campsites we have reserved.
Planned activities: • Various archery shoots by different archery marshals. • Night Archery Shoot • Camps tours. •Bardic (singing, storytelling, poetry and other performing arts)
