Join us for a Needle Felting Workshop, Sunday, June 8, 2025, 12:00-2:30 pm. Love Door County lighthouses? Come join us to learn how to paint with felt and create your own nostalgic lighthouse landscape along the water for you to cherish.

Felting is a unique and creative art form that involves transforming loose fibers into solid and intricate shapes. Using various techniques in needle felting, artists are able to create stunning and tactile masterpieces. Each fiber is carefully layered, intertwined, and manipulated to create texture, depth, and dimension.

Whether it's a delicate flower, a whimsical animal, or a vibrant landscape, felting allows artists to bring their imagination to life with softness and charm. With its versatility and endless possibilities, felting has captured the hearts of many artists and enthusiasts, who find solace and joy in the therapeutic process of manipulating the wool with their hands. No experience necessary. All materials will be provided.

With more than 30 years as an artist and art educator in Sturgeon Bay, instructor Nicole Herbst bring a wealth of experience to passions for art and teaching. A dual Master’s degrees in Education and Pastoral Ministry enrich her approach, allowing Nicole to inspire and guide students effectively. Creating art is integral to her identity, fueling creativity and enhancing teaching.
