Art + Adornment : A Mother's Day Art Show & Charm Bar

You’re invited to a creative open studio event hosted by two local artists: jewelry designer Love Wahlen and watercolor artist and photographer Sara Maccaux.

This relaxed, drop-in gathering is all about art, connection, and hands-on creativity. Love will be hosting her signature charm bar, featuring a curated collection of charms spanning the last decade—ready to be assembled into custom, wearable keepsakes on the spot. Whether you’re marking a moment, telling a story, or just choosing what speaks to you, it’s a truly one-of-a-kind jewelry experience.

Sara will be sharing her original watercolor artwork alongside fine art photography prints, including pieces from her beloved “Through My Eyes” series. Her work captures the natural beauty and quiet magic of Door County through bold color, light, and feeling. You’ll have the chance to meet the artist, view and purchase work, and bring home something beautiful and meaningful.

This is a laid-back, come-as-you-are kind of day. Bring a friend, bring your mom, or come solo and soak in the creative energy. There’s no pressure, no RSVP, just an open door and two artists doing what they love. We’d love to see you.
