Did you know that the American Alligator has remained mostly unchanged for millions of years ? This ancient aquatic reptile has many stories to tell and lives among us here in all 67 Florida counties. For this nature walk, we will be exploring the southern end of Halapatiokee Park on teh trails along the lakes. Bring you binoculars if you have them and we will see you out there!
DETAILS
FREE program, but reservations are required
This program will begin at 8:30am and last until approximately 10:00am
The walk will be 1-2 miles across various natural surfaces including grass
Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear
Bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray
Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult
All participants will be required to sign waivers that will be provided at the start of the program
