Nocturnal Wonders: Life of Bats Nature Walk

Join us on this free guided nature walk to learn about this unique nocturnal animal!

About this Event

Did you know that there are thirteen native Florida bat species? Come explore this beautiful park on this spring evening as we learn about our mysterious noctural animals- bats! On this guided nature walk, we will learn about the life of bats, their vital role in our ecosystem, and the mysterious myths that surround them. After this program, you will view bats in a while new light (or dark)!

DETAILS

• FREE program, but reservations are required
• This program will begin at 7:00pm and last until approximately 8:00pm
• The length of this nature walk is about 3/4 mile across various natural surfaces
• Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear
• Bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray
• Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult
• No pets
• All participants will be required to sign waivers that will be provided at the start of the program
