Vinyl Covers - fra indpakning til kunstværk

Tænk på et fodgængerfelt. En sporvogn fra en Tintin tegneserie? Eller måske en prisme, der brydes af lyset? Et pladecover blev ofte langt mere end bare indpakning. Og til tider satte coveret lige så stort et aftryk som musikken.

Udstillingen viser et særligt udvalgt af vinyl samler Michael Steinke Christensens samling fra de tidligste omslag til 78´er lakplader og frem til i dag: Der er både sjældne og unikke ikoniske værker med kunstnere som Andy Warhol, Leif Sylvester Petersen og Ingvar Cronhammer.

Udstillingen af plade covers vises i Gimsinghoved fra 29. maj til 15. juni 2025.
