Blessing of Backpacks!

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

The school year is about to begin, or it has just begun, depending on the school's district/state.

We will have the prayer for the blessed beginning and for a good and fruitful school year at our parish on Sunday, August 31, at the end of the Liturgy. Children and youths are welcome to bring their backpacks so they can be blessed as well.

Whether your children go to public school, or they are homeschooled, or they go to Chrysostom's Academy, or perhaps something else - college students are welcome to join us as well - they are welcome to participate!
