Two classic Hepburn movies! Roman Holiday featuring Audrey and The Philadelphia Story with Katharine.
Roman Holiday:
In one of the most romantic films in cinematic history Princess Ann (Audrey Hepburn) escapes her quarters and explores Rome while falling in love with American news reporter Gregory Peck. Hepburn won the Oscar for her first leading role, in a movie which the New York Times praised as “a natural, tender and amusing yarn” with “laughs that leave the spirit soaring”. William Wyler’s direction, a script by the uncredited blacklisted writer Dalton Trumbo and Edith Head’s costumes all contributed to the film’s huge success and enduring popularity. The movie will be preceded by a short introduction.
