1st Annual Fisher Fiddle Camp! This is open to ALL acoustic instruments (fiddle, guitar, banjo, mandolin, bodhran, bass, ukulele, etc.).
There will be workshops during the day, and jams in the evenings. We'll use some standard American old-time and Irish tunes and songs for the workshops.

Come for the whole time, or if you have prior commitments those days, feel free to stop by when you can!
Camping will be available - please be sure to RSVP to
RmlzaGVyRmlkZGxlQ2FtcCB8IGdtYWlsICEgY29t and let us know if you will need a place to park an RV or to pitch a tent. (No RV hookups).
***Pack your own picnic food for each meal you will be there! Bring a cooler! We will have water available, but you will need to bring your own food.***
Andy Kirby of the Byson Band dreamt this up - because our area could use a music camp for traditional fiddle music! This area had a great tradition of square dances and homemade music once upon a time, and we are lucky to still have some great bluegrass bands and old time jams around - it's time to get together and revitalize the tradition for the future!
This first year will be more informal to try things out - come be part of the start! If you have expertise and an interest in leading a workshop for a future year, please let us know :)
The first year will be by donations only (we will donate the money to the Millcreek Presbyterian Church as a thank you for providing a place to hold the event).

-The Keister Family Bluegrass Festival will take place the weekend the fiddle camp ends, July 25-27, 2025 (1795 Millerstown Road, Shippenville, PA).
- Mechanistic Jam is on the Third Thursday of every month at 6pm at Mechanistic Brewing Co. in Clarion (538 Liberty St, Clarion, PA 16214).
- Marienville Jam is the 2nd Friday of every month, 7-10pm, at the MACA Community Building (149 MACA Drive, Marienville, PA).
